This tragic event leads Alex to accidentally discover a coded Masonic message, hidden for almost two centuries. His spouse is kidnapped, and now he has less than 30 hours to solve a complex puzzle that transports him into a dark universe of secret societies and gradually revealed mysteries, in the search for an artifact that, if found, will force him to choose between saving the world and saving the person he loves.
The author
A PhD in Religion and Master Mason, Iann Fox moved to the United States years before the fateful September 11, 2001. Always interested in behavioral and metaphysical subjects since his teenage years, he sought to research and understand where the hatred toward the free world comes from—the hatred that led to the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers, as well as the prejudices that resulted from that tragedy. The initial investigation gave rise to the book that, years later, was published in Portuguese as A Vela Vermelha, book 1 of the Collapse of Dogmas series.
Eclectic, he is a specialist in various fields of knowledge. A lover of the arts in general, he has received several awards for his own work.
A staunch defender of social causes and always aspiring to a more just and perfect world, Iann Fox is the first Masonic novelist to openly present himself as such. As a Master Mason, he has reached the degree of Sovereign Prince of Freemasonry (Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret, 32° of the Scottish Rite).
